Photo Challenge Day 27!

There has been some mistake, guys. Two, specifically. First, my previous post about my favorite night as the challenge for day 26 is horribly wrong! It's supposed to be the challenge for today. And the challenge for that day should be about the thing that means a lot to me. There has been some mix-up. So, to cope with that, I decided, together with some jury, to just do the 26th challenge as the 27th challenge, and leave the 27th challenge as the 26th challenge forever! Second, I wasn't able to post anything yesterday rendering this daily challenge not so daily. It's not that I did it intentionally. I was, like so busy yesterday. But call me Superman, dude. I managed to get my NBI clearance, SSS number, and TIN... all in one day! See? Come on... Go on! Tell me I rock. *<LOL>*. I went home last night at about seven. My two sisters were too busy with the toppy so I had to wait for my turn. At eleven, finally, I had my turn. But blogger's down, man! Oh, come on! As in, NOW! All of time, it had to be now?! So, regrettably, I have to do the challenge today for both yesterday's challenge and today's. No sweat, guys. Two blogs for today! Hooray!

So yesterday's supposed challenge was to post a photo of something that means a lot to me. For starters, I possess a lot of things that mean a lot to me. So, for the nth time, I can't post a singly-picked photo specific for the challenge. 'Coz there's just a lot, man. So allow me to post five randomly chosen things I own that mean a lot to me.

First...

I know it's cliche when I say, "I can't live without my cellphone." But I don't care 'coz it's just true. I mean, at this modern era, who could? And cellphones evolved to smartphones already. There's more to a cellphone than calling and texting right now. You can do a lot of things with it. But, of course, it's basic use still remains... connecting anyone to that anyone's loved ones :D

Second...

You can't blame me for putting this in my list of most-valued things. Without this, the world is just a blur. How could I appreciate the wonders of life if I can't see it crystal clear? I know, right?

For a internet savvy like me, this is a must-have. And since four years ago, this has been my company in any of my internet-based journey. Up until now, this little toppy accompanies me in everything that I do as far as the World Wide Web is concerned. And this site would cease to exist if I don't own my own laptop. Own that!

Shut up and get rid of any funny thoughts you have in mind right now. These are not just toys. These are my treasure and at the same time my stress reliever. Whenever I see this, I couldn't help but smile. *<smile>*. Seeing these little lifeless creatures makes me want to wish Toy Story is for real :D I especially have a special space in my heart for those special Pokemon cuties right there. Especially special!

And, this next photo may not be "something", but above everything in this world.... the "thing" that means a lot, and I mean a lot, to me would be...

My family. I love them. No explanations needed. I just do.

That's for day 27, minna :D

Photo Challenge Day 14!

Here's to a new day! And today's challenge is a breeze. My favorite store is simply, amazingly, awesomely this...

You can't blame me. I am an anime fanatic. I love One Piece, Fairy Tail, Full Metal Alchemist, Hunter X Hunter, Pokemon and Dragon Balls and even the old-school ones like Yu Yu Hakusho, Flame of Recca, Slam Dunk, Zenki, Cardcaptor Sakura, even Sailor Moon for Legolas' sakes. And every anime fanatic out there would want things with their favorite anime in it. And Comic Alley has it all! From Pokemon cards, to One Piece wanted posters, to Fairy Tail Celestial Keys, down to... uhh... all things anime! Whooooooo! There's One Piece wallet, Fairy Tail bands, Chopper's bag, Natsu's scarf, Ace's hat, Law's jacket, Law's hat, ALL ANIME ACTION FIGURES! Kill me now!

I got my hands on some stuff, of course. The cheapest ones, actually. I just don't have the luxury to buy all of them. I have One Piece wanted posters (given by MY BIGGEST FRIEND on my graduation day), I also have Trafalgar Law headset (also given by MY BIGGEST FRIEND on my graduation day), I also have One Piece badges, I also have One Piece mouse pad, I also... that's all I have. So sad. *<saddest face ever>*.

I wanted to get my hands on all those action figures! Like all of them. But they are impossibly expensive! GRRR! They are so expensive that I wanna just mope all day and wish I was Bill Gates's son! Calm me down! Okay, I'm calm. Anyway, I know I'll get them someday. I just have to believe that fate will bring me there. And I have friends. They MIGHT give it to as GIFTS! That'd be great. Besides, I already have 400 Pokemon toys. That's something.

Day 14!

Cosplay Has Never Been This Good

I'm not much of a cosplay fan, but when I was scanning my 9gag feed category cosplay, I came across these cool people dressed from a video game character, to anime character, to cartoon character, down to Pokemon, i just said... "Man, I gotta need to blog this." Check out these awesome cosplays known to mankind!

As much as you don't want to believe it, you have to. That's Charizard. Come on.

I used to use her when I was having the time of my life playing Mortal Kombat in an arcade. She was great, man. Meet Kitana.

I never thought this was possible. That's Him. Yeah, her name is Him. And she's from Powerpuff girls. Oh, I'm hearing it... "Fighting crime, trying to save the world..." I miss Mojo Jojo.

I'm not a fan of him. He's Vega, the gay version of Wolverine.

One of Resident Evil's coolest characters! Jill for the win!

Kim Impossible and Ron Unstoppable together! Oh, wait. They are always together.

That's Lei, right?

Gender bent Majin Buu. Who'd have thought? For once, DON'T DESTROY EARTH!

That's one hot Sonic.

I love her. I mean the anime one. That's Hancock, Luffy's admirer since forever!

Simply my favorite Teen Titan. Raven, everybody!

I'm either thrilled or ______________. It starts with D.

Batman might just intentionally let himself be poisoned! Poison Ivy is poisonous.

Violet! But my favorite Incredible is still, Jack-Jack.

Oh, nostalgia. I used to like watching Addams Family. That's Wednesday!

And Misty. What a finale.

That's it!

Photo Challenge Day 1!

All right. Day 1, guys. And the first photo challenge is to post a photo of me with ten facts about, well, me. I’m not sure if I have to write the facts within the photo or just put it as a caption. The challenge was not really detailed. So, I’ll do it the hard rock way. And, by the way, the facts I’m about to mention here are so random. It just flew in my mind. Unedited. Unsolicited. Unthought-of.

Well. That’s me. And a recent photo at that. This was taken just last February 14. Yeah. Valentine’s Day. And Single-Awareness Day for me. But I did some celebration, of course. With four of the most awesome people in the world (in their own rights). And, look, I’m wearing a red tee. Color of love. And War! Blood! Even Death! And in Africa, it symbolizes mourning! *<laugh>*. Am I being too bitter? Sorry. And while we were walking around the mall, there’s a lot of love going on. Heart-shaped balloons! Roses! Chocolates! Couples WWHH! Boys with flowers! Girls with stuffed toys! Janitors making out! Guards with red guns! Saleslady with love-infested uniforms! Restaurants offering good-for-two meal promos! Every damn item in the market in pairs! I mean, come on! *<LOL>*. Anyways, we did not allow the love-filled-ambiance of the place took the better of us. Instead, we watched a horror movie. Yeah, horror! And I kept on insisting that horror movies are for singles. That’s why we chose to watch “Basement” instead of “Starting Over Again”. Go ahead. Laugh!

Sorry for the bitterness. And here are the facts about me!

Fact no. 1: I LOVE CHLOE GRACE MORETZ!

I mean, you should see that coming. *<Lol>*. I have this huge admiration going on within me for this girl! Who doesn’t, anyway? She’s a superb actress at a very young age. And I watched most of her movies too. From 500 Days of Summer, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Kick-Ass, Let Me In, Kick-Ass 2, to Carrie! All must-watch movies! Oh, come on.

Fact no. 2: I COLLECT K-ZONE MAGAZINES!

Childish? Nah. K-zone has a lot of cool stuff for adults than meets the eye. They tackle a lot of things that I am still interested into. Like latest released music albums; latest released DVD’s; must-read books; latest news of upcoming flicks; special articles for some of my favorite stuff on Earth (One Piece, Pokemon, Fairy Tail, WWE, and a lot more); the coolest calendar in the whole world; top apps to download; reviews on a lot of cool techie things like smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles, and grandest cars ever; hilarious comics; the coolest robot of them all: K-Leb; interviews with famous people; the ever-info-giving news by the number; and of course, the most helpful Game-zone! So, if you find adults looking for K-zone at some random mag stalls or supermarkets… be cool and don’t think about the dude being kiddy. Kiddy?!? *<laugh>*. PS. I hope K-Zone notices my endorsement here. *<winks>*

Fact no. 3:  I’M A CERTIFIED CHICO LOCO FAN!

And that’s him. Your humbleness himself, his name is Chico Loco! He’s a DJ from one of my favorite radio stations: 101.1 Yes FM. And he’s a total package. You just couldn’t stop yourself from listening to him when you get to know him more. And he’s one of a kind. I mean, he’s very different from your typical radio DJ’s. I have to admit, I was never a fan of any radio stations. I don’t listen to DJ’s and their boring conversations on air. Sorry for that, but there are a lot of DJ’s out there who are so far away from their goals, and that is to entertain. But you have to exempt Chico Loco from that. Coz he’s a one-man entertainment band! Oh, he’s not one-man, though. He has with him six totally cool, totally entertaining, equally funny guys who will rock up your weekday nights. And they are Chiklet, Notnot, Lola Kerps, Kapitan Tutan, Koyang, and Madam Chiki! See? All seven of them in one fun-packed radio program! What are you waiting for? It’s time for you to tune in and check Chico Loco for yourself!

Fact no. 4: MY HIGHEST ACHIEVEMENT IN FLAPPY BIRD: 127!

I still remember the time when I checked Flappy Bird for download and decided not to. For one reason only, its graphics is so old-school. In this modern era, graphics in mobile games means a lot. In fact, it’s one of the things I check out first before trying a game. But I couldn’t resist its popularity anymore! I mean, it’s taking the whole world upside down. My Facebook news feed showed a lot of my friends posting their Flappy Bird scores. And so I tried it for myself. And, boy, was I hooked! And after so many days of failed attempts to trample my sister’s score, it only took me as high as (or as low as) 127! Sadly, Flappy Bird developer took it away from the market. Apparently, he couldn’t take it anymore. You can read the whole story somewhere in the net.

Fact no. 5: I’M A PROUD MEMBER OF THE PORNELOS FAMILY!

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is my family. Just look for me! I’m second from the eldest. And I am the cutest. Your argument is invalid! You probably heard this before, but I mean it. If I were to be born again, and be given the chance to choose the family I’d want, I’d still want this. We’re not perfect, you know. We have our individual differences. We argue a lot. I mean a lot! But that doesn’t hinder us from uniting as a family. That’s just it. Families are one of the things that keep you driven to do what you do. And my family is no exemption.

Fact no. 6: I HAVE A TWITTER ACCOUNT!

Sad, eh. Look at that. I only have 10 followers! And I’m following a lot. Well, I’m not much of a twitter guy. I’m more into Facebook and Instagram (where I have 5,028 followers… yeah, man!). But, it’s a fact. So I included it here. So maybe, just maybe, you could stop pitying me and just follow me. Go ahead!

Fact no. 7: I HAVE CARDS!

And not just cards, you know. These are cards that collect points whenever you do shopping. It’s quite convenient, actually. It’s just getting something from the things you already bought. And if you collected enough points to purchase something, you could have it without spending a penny. See? I have SM Advantage Card, Shopwise Wise Card, Mercury Drugs Suki Card, Tom’s World Card, and Jollibee Happy Plus Card. And I’m planning to collect more!

Fact no. 8: I PLAYED EVERY POKEMON GAMES EXCEPT POKEMON X AND Y!

This is a sad fact. I’m so sad that I can’t say anything about this. Sorry. *<Sniff>*

Fact no. 9: MY FAVORITE COLOR IS GREEN!

Hello? Who wouldn’t love green? It’s the color of, uhm, leaves, right? And the Green Lantern. The Green Hornet. The Green Arrow. And, uhm, many more *<laugh>*. You know what they say, you don’t need reasons when you love something. I just love green. Period!

Fact no. 10: I HAVE A LOT OF FRIENDS!

And I mean a lot, man! And I can’t post their pictures. There’s just too many. It will take you million years to load this page! And I’m glad that I’m blessed with a lot of friends. They make your existence far more meaningful. As they say, friends are the family you choose.

That’s it, guys. Day 1 photo challenge done. See you tomorrow!

Best Pokemon Game Ever!

Pokémon Black and White 2 US version were out in the market last October 12 of this year. And I feel that it's my obligation to write something about its first plot knowing how much I love Pokémon in its entirety. But before I go to the main drama of this post, l'd like to express my deepest distress over the fact that Pokémon Black and White 2 are the last installment for Nintendo DS. It means DS users can no longer hope for another big Pokémon game for their consoles. Whether you like it not, you'll need to switch to 3DS if you wanted to keep track of what's happening in the Pokémon World. For someone like me, whose money bank is as rich as the Weasley's vault on Gringgotts, getting myself a 3DS is still far far away. And so, ladies and gentlemen, especially to all Pokémon lovers like me out there, before I finally start playing the second story of Pokémon Black and White, allow me to share some of the things that made Pokémon Black and White the best Pokémon game ever! Well, that's, of course, before playing Pokémon Black and White 2. Who knows? The second plot might still be better than its predecessor.

All throughout my playtime in Pokémon Black/White, I took notes of the things, both simple and big, which, in my opinion, made Pokémon Black/White the best Pokémon game ever!

And, without further ado, here they are in an enumerated manner:

-AUDINO: EXPERIENCE-GIVING POKÉMON. Unlike the previous Pokémon games, Pokémon B/W introduced this wonderful Pokémon as part of the fifth generation Pokémon's. Audino is a normal type Pokémon with rather cute physical features. I would not recommend it in your team, though. However cute this Pokémon may be, it's weak in terms of attack, defense, speed, special attack, and special defense. But this Pokémon made leveling a whole lot better compared to the previous versions. Audino gives a hell lot of experience points whenever you make it faint in a battle. It gives even more experience points when your Pokémon is lower in level. This is one great way to level up your team when you're faced a rather difficult trainer. This was my strategy when I played the game. Before getting into another town with a gym in it, or if I failed to beat a stronger trainer along the way, I look for wild Audino's several times and beat the hell out of them several times too. That means a lot of exp. for my Pokémon's. Yeah man! And then I would be ready for the harder challenges ahead.

-TM'S CAN BE USED INFINITELY. This is one of the changes that I love the most in this version. Unlike the other Pokémon games where TM's are for single use only, Pokémon B/W allowed it to be used unlimitedly. How awesome is that, huh? That means you don't have to worry if you used it on a wrong Pokémon. You could just let that Pokémon forget the move and teach it to the much deserving Pokémon who could use it in its full capacity. It also means another great collection in the game. just like what I did. I made it a collection along with Pokeballs, Pokemails, Berries, and a whole lot more. You can do it, too!

-THE STORY. The Story is epic, man. Anyone who says it's not is dead! We all know the usual story in the previous games was composed of villainous groups who do nothing but trouble. Remember Team Rocket in the old Red/Blue/Green? Their main scheme was to steal Pokémon and do some stuff with them. They even made a comeback in the Pokémon Crystal/Gold/Silver. How about Team Magma's and Aqua's crazy objective to release the two legendary Pokémon Groudon and Kyogre? Pretty evil, huh? This time, Unova's outlaws called themselves Team Plasma. They even have this Seven Sages who, apparently, are the leaders of the organization. But the main head who works for real is Ghetsis! The team's cover-up blah blah blah was to liberate Pokémon from trainers who, according to them, don't understand anything on what their Pokémon feels. They wanted to free all Pokémon's from the hands of their trainers who, according to them again, are actually hurting their Pokémon by forcing them battle other Pokémon's. This is a pretty noble objective for an evil group, actually. On the surface, of course. Ghetsis, the leader of the Seven Sages and of Team Plasma, wants nothing but world domination! It's pretty cool, actually. Agree with me or else. It would be so much easy for someone who wanted to control the world if the people no longer possess any Pokémon.

5TH GENERATION POKÉMON. This is what is lovely about Pokémon games. When they introduce new games with new region, along with it comes another new batch of never-before-seen Pokémon's with legendary ones. Unova region's Pokémon, I should note, gives a little more time for the 5th Gen Pokémon's in the game. Any Pokémon from the previous games will only appear if you beat the Elite four! Pretty cool, actually. It could, at least, give more time to the players to familiarize himself with the new critters, cutie or not! There's even a place called White Forest and Black City where you can catch either the pre-ev or the final ev of certain Pokémon's. Awesome!

MOVING SPRITES DURING BATTLES. This is the first thing I noticed in the battle scene of Pokémon B/W when Bianca asked to have a battle with me (the very first battle in the game). I was surprised that the sprites were moving! They even move even when they're not attacking! Moreover, from time to time, in major battles, the trainer pops out with a thing or two to say. Cool, huh?

SWAYING GRASS/SMOKE IN CAVES/BUBBLES ON WATER. This is another great addition to this version. In every grass patches (excluding those tall ones), there is a chance you'll come across a swaying grass. This will absolutely give you a chance to encounter either of the two: Audino or any other rare Pokémon. Yeah. As I have said, when I was faced a rather difficult opponent along the way, I do some level-upping. I look for a grass patch as nearest to Pokémon Centers as possible and run along the patch and wait for a part of the grass patch to sway. By doing it several times, you'll run into a lot of Audino's that could make your Pokémon grow stronger. Even in caves, smokes occasionally appear while you are roaming/exploring/discovering. When you go through it, you can encounter a Pokémon that's rare. It's so rare that you can only encounter it when smokes appear. It also allows you to collect different gems with different functions. Most of them are for single use only, though. But it's good enough. In water, a black bubble also appears from time to time. When you pass through it or you fish in it, there's a great chance you'll hook a rather rare specie of water-type Pokémon. In bridges, shadows occasionally appear. It allows you to encounter flying-type Pokémon and various items with various functions, too. Convenient, eh?

A WHOLE NEW WAY OF LEVELING. Oh, yeah. Another change in leveling system was incorporated in this game. I actually consider it beneficial to the player. You see, when you encounter a wild Pokémon or battle a trainer-owned Pokémon that is higher in level than your Pokémon and you manage to defeat it, you'll get a rather huge amount of experience points. It gets higher the farther your opponent's level to yours. Of course, that would be difficult to beat. But with good strategy, there's nothing impossible, really. The only downside is, the experience you get from beating Pokémon's of lower level than yours decreases depending on the level. For example, when a level 5 Pokémon beats a level 2 Pokémon, it could get, at least, 19 exp. points. When that Pokémon reached level 6 and encountered another the same level 2 Pokémon, the exp. points you'll gain reduces to 12. See?

POKÉMON CENTER AND POKEMART IN A SAME BUILDING. This may be a small thing, but I find it convenient, too. With these incredibly useful and much needed Pokémon services being in a same room, there would be no need to go out and look for the mart after healing your wounded Pokémon. It saves time, man.

FLASH IS NOT A HM ANYMORE. I bet every Pokémon players all over the world love this the way I did. Yeah, Pokémon B/W made this annoying move a TM. That means you'll never need a HM deleter to remove it from your move set. And because TM's can be used infinitely now, you have the choice to use it only when you're in a dark cave. After using it, you can replace it again with a much better move. You see, Flash can be used to lower the accuracy of the opponent. And usually, accuracy-reducing moves takes effect after two or three go's. Why not just use the turn to inflict damage? I'm right, right?

MOO MOO MILK IN DOZEN. In the previous games, it really annoyed me when I encounter a Moo Moo Milk-selling dude or something. Just like vending machines, it only allows you to get one item at a time. Very patience-killing! But with this new offer, you can have 12 Moo Moo Milk in one go. Convenient, indeed.

MORE VENDING MACHINES. Vending machines, in the previous games, were limited. In fact, it's very limited that it could only be seen in malls. And on the top floor, at that. Sigh. And, you know Pokémon games only have one mall per region. I really don't know why! Somehow, every town and city has its unique contribution to the game. You cannot find one town's specialty in another town. Again, I really don't know why. But not in this game, man. I mean vending machines are everywhere! So Soda Pop, Lemonade and Fresh Water are up for grabs wherever you are.

DOCTOR AND NURSE TRAINERS. I think this is the most convenient, uhm, thing Pokémon B/W has to offer. There are Doctor/Nurse trainers, man. And if you beat them, they'll give you free healing services. That would mean no more going back to Pokémon Centers. And that's something, man. I mean, what would you feel if you are in the middle of this crazily-mazed cave with all your Pokémon almost down to zero and there's nothing to heal them? And you don't have escape ropes. And you don't have any Pokémon with Dig. You'll have to retrace your track back to the entrance all the way to the nearest Pokémon Center just to heal you dying Pokémon's. And you'll start with the cave all over again. Very bad! And how would you feel if out of nowhere (same dreadful situation), a Doctor/Nurse showed up. Very relieving, right?

GYM DUDE GIVES FRESH WATER. As you enter any gym in any Pokémon game, the first thing you'll notice is this guy in front. When you talk to it, he'll give you pieces of advice on how to beat the gym leader. That's all he does, though. But not in Pokémon B/W. Aside from the useful info he gives, he also hands out free Fresh Water. Wow. How generous of him.

FOSSIL-REVIVING A BREEZE. Technology really went crazy in this game. Before, when you wanted to revive a fossil, you'll have to give it to the fossil-reviving dude and he'll make you walk around town for some time before you get your newly incarnated Pokémon. But B/W saw this inconvenience and made it easy. In fact, it gotten so easy that you'll just have to wait 5-10 seconds, and voila, you have your ancient Pokémon fresh from revival!

That's it. Those are the things that made Pokémon Black and White the coolest Pokémon game ever! That’s according to me, of course. those are just the things I’ve listed when I was playing the game. And I hope, Pokémon Black and White 2 add more of these. See ya, Pokémon lovers!

There is Goodness in Pokemon Games

Some people may find it childish, but I really don't care. I am so much in love with Pokemon that I wanted them to be real. Yeah, you heard me, right. I mean, uhm, you read it right? Whatever. There's nothing really wrong with too much liking for Pokemon. In fact, there are millions like me out there who drool over Pokemon.  Drool seems to be exaggerated. Uhm, how about obsessed?

Bub that's reality. And the Internet is my witness. Just go to YouTube and you would find thousands of videos of Pokemon games walkthroughs. I, sometimes, find it useful. But I don't rely much on walkthroughs. It's just so useless playing Pokemon games if you used walkthroughs. I mean, where's the thrill, man. And, besides, Pokemon games are usually not hard to play. Just, uhm, fun and really TIME CONSUMING. There are even websites that are dedicated solely for Pokemon. Just check out PokeCommunity and Bulbapedia.

But I have to consider the monotony of the Pokemon games. You see, from Pokemon Red, Green, and Blue in the old Game Boy, to Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal in the old Game Boy Color, to Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald in the old Game Boy Advance, to Pokemon Pearl, Diamond and Platinum in the Nintendo DS, up to Pokemon Black and White in the Nintendo DS, the same things happen. It all starts with; you are at your house about to start your very own Pokemon adventure; the nearby Pokemon Professor will let you choose among the three Pokemon Starters for that region (always the same Fire, Grass, and Water types); you obtain the PokeDex and the Good Ol' Prof will ask you to complete the Dex and actually capture every Pokemon there is to capture; along the way, you will fight some villainous teams who have this we-are-the-strongest-team-in-the-world-and-no-one-can-beat-us attitude, but always end up losers (that is if your not too careful about training your Pokemon team); your task is always to go to towns and cities ahead and fight their respective Gyms and collect their Gym Badges; and when you collected the eight Gym Badges, you will go to the League and beat the Elite Four and the current Champion (who, usually, is your rival in the game); and after you beat the Elite Four, the credits will roll and you will start the game again in your house; the Pokemon Professor will now upgrade your Dex so that it will become National Dex, allowing you to record the old Pokemon's, and your task now is to complete the National Dex; beating the Elite Four usually gives you access to those places you weren't able to enter before because some guy is actually standing at the entrance preventing unqualified trainers to enter; and usually, these places, usually caves, contain legendary Pokemon.

But despite this monotony, I still played them all. Every single one of them. Including the remakes of the old Red, Green, Gold, and Silver games: Fire Red, Leaf Green, Heart Gold, and Soul Silver. It's simple. I love playing the games. And the never ending task of completing the Dex is also my never ending goal. Funny, but in every game I played, I never ever completed the Dex. For so many reasons, of course. First, there are Pokemon in one version that are not really included in that version. That's why they always release two or three versions so you could just trade with others playing the other version. And that sucks, man. And a lot hassle. Second, the other two starters that are left in the Professor's Lab (the one you didn't choose) can never be seen in the wild. Again, you have to trade. Third, there are just Pokemon that won't evolve unless traded. Pokemon's like Graveler, Onix, Machoke, Pupitar, and a lot more. So, I never had the chance to get Golem, Steelix, Machamp, and Tyranitar for myself. That really sucks too, man. Fourth, there are fossils in every regions (usually two) and you only get one 'coz the other mysteriously falls into nothingness, or there are people who guard the fossils and just give you one! I mean, why not just give everything? GRRRRRR!

The thing is, I don't know anyone in my locality that has the same obsession as I have. So, I don't have the chance to trade. Making it impossible for me to complete the Dex.

But, anyways, there are side quests along the journey that I enjoyed much. Taking you temporarily out from your main quest. In Johto, there is Bug Catching Contest you could actually join in to. In Hoenn, there is the Pokemon Contest, and the fun mixing of berries. In Sinnoh, the mining really is cool, and that mixing of puree-like thing (the one that goes black when the heat is uncontrolled, and actually spills if you stir it so hard, EPIC!). And all regions have Safari Zones. The very place you could have fun in capturing never-before-seen Pokemon. In other words, rare ones. Things like this break the monotony of the game. And I still haven't mentioned the other quest to defeat the villains.

I'll just add this. I like the idea of getting to another region after defeating the Elite Four and winning the League on the region you are playing in. Just like in Pokemon Gold and Silver series. After you finished making the Elite Four look sorry for themselves, you can actually travel to Kanto. And start another journey of Gym Badges-collecting. Sadly, the only games that did not are the ones mentioned. Of course, their remakes, too.

So, there are lot to Pokemon than meets the eye. I don't care if people find it funny for a 21 year old guy to be playing games like this. Blast it, there are 43 year old guys still into Pokemon. So, just excuse me, and mind your own business.

Chatot: My 2nd Favorite Pokemon

Let me introduce you to my 2nd favorite Pokemon: Chatot. Quite unique, right? Especially the head. It's shaped like an eighth note. You probably learned that in your elementary. One thing I like about this Pokemon  is its ability to mimic human voice. It could be the only Pokemon who can talk human language. Except, of course, Team Rocket's Meowth. But that's one of  kind. All the other Meowths don't talk. While all Chatot can. Amazing, eh. I first met this in Pokemon Diamond. I Just met this in the wild. And I recently saw this Pokemon on "Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea" as The Phantom's pet Pokemon. Villainous character, eh. But that doesn't change my liking to it.

A Chatot on its most formal self.

An information. Chatot is the assistance of Wigglituff in "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of  Time and Darkness", though, I never get to play one.

Is it just me or this Chatot is smiling?

A Chatot about to attack. And do I see Corphish at the back?

That's Officer Jenny. Nice shades.

I don't have any idea who that girl is.

That's that. That makes my favorite Pokemon to two. Wish to see more of it.

My Most Favorite Pokemon

I usually don't use this Pokemon when playing Pokemon. I guess in games, hp, attack, defense, special attack, special defense and speed do matter a lot. And this particular Pokemon's low in every ground. I come to like it in the television episodes. Of course, there are hundreds of thousands of this Pokemon. But my favorite Pokemon happens to be Misty's least favorite one. Yeah, I think you're guessing it right. It's Psyduck.

Quite far from my perspectives, but this is really my fave Pokemon. I guess "in every rule, there's an exemption" does apply with me. There's nothing really special about Psyduck. But I have to mention it has great powers in its head. Its a water type Pokemon but can really use psychic type attacks. And I guess a very good HM slave for it almost knows all HM except Fly. In the TV series, it always comes out of its pokeball even though Misty doesn't call it. It makes it a hobby to Misty's annoyance, and mine's great amusement. Well, I did mention it has great powers but this Pokemon doesn't know it has. Every time it uses its powers, it doesn't recall doing so. That's make it look puzzled. Quite disturbing, eh.

I don't recall any episode having this scene but I'm 100 % sure that above Psyduck's head (with three distinct,  thick, black hair) is Misty. And to its left is Ash.

That's Meowth using Scratch attack and Bite attack to Psyduck. But the way I see it, it doesn't seem to bother Psyduck. Awesome!

Psyduck up-close and personal. Cute oblong eyes it has.

Oh, poor liitle Psyduck. Beaten by some bad Pokemon, I guess.

Am I to understand that Psyduck is blushing? Infatuated, perhaps?

Psyduck relaxing. And it really is relaxing to see Psyduck relax. I kinda pity it for always looking worried.

Now I don't know which one is my favorite.

This is not a Chinese Psyduck. It's just sleeping?

That guy is Tracey, a pokemon sketcher, I think. That egg thing is Togepi. And the one holding Psyduck is Misty. It sure do look like Misty's bullying Psyduck. Bad Misty.

You may notice Psyduck always holding its head. Well, a very simple explanation for that, it always suffers from headache. But this headache's quite an asset, because when it intensifies, it starts using strange, yet, strong powers. Way to go, dude!
